Bench Tops
Tops are available in various materials. We use expanded metal as our standard
bench top unless another material is requested. Also available are welded
wire, coated wire, Ebb & Flo, plastic tops, and the new channel bench top.
Stationary Benches
USGR offers a wide variety of crop growing and display benches for greenhouse, nursery and indoor growing facilities including stationary, rolling top, Ebb & Flo and hydroponic growing. We have been instrumental in the development of moveable bench systems and introducing new innovative bench materials and accessories since 1970.
USGR Stationary Benches are built tough, from the ground up. Bench legs are heavy-gauge galvanized steel. Tube ends are capped to seal out moisture and chemicals. And steel-aluminum trays resist the chemicals and water that corrode the profits right out of other benching systems.
The Floating Aisle Bench System turns unprofitable aisle areas into profit-producing growing space. One “floating” aisle in your greenhouse is all you need.
Our unique system allows you to move the access aisle from one side of the greenhouse to the other – and anywhere in between. The square footage gained by eliminating unused aisles can increase your growing area by as much as 30% to a maximum of 84-87% of ground area.
Design to integrate under bench heat tubes for under bench heating. Pre-punched materials allow for easy assembly. Available in various widths and length. Heavy gauge legs supplied with a galvanized finish. Rollformed components maximize structural integrity. Hot-dipped galvanized steel with one-piece aluminum frame.
Tops are supplied in gray as standard but are available in other colors at an additional charge and shipped directly from the factory in Europe. Minimum order 50 pieces.
For an additional charge we can supply tops with ultra violet light filter on outer surface which is added to polystyrene during the manufacturing process.
Some sizes are available in U.S. and Canadian inventory. Material can be ordered from the factory and shopped to warehouses in the U.S. and Canada if not available in the warehouse. Most sizes shipped directly from European factory. Many sizes available.
The Dura-Bench Original was introduced in 2001 as a plastic bench top to replace wood, wire and expanded metal. The Dura-Bench Original is heavier in weight and encompasses smaller square holes for more surface area. This product is peak load tested at 630 lbs.

Our Benchmaster benches are extremely strong, easy to assemble and disassemble. Can be mounted on concrete blocks, or come with legs of various lengths. Ideal for plant display, retail and institutional applications. Many sold for hobby and industrial use. Extremely long life. Available in black color. Various widths: 16″, 24″, 36″ Lengths: 36″, 66″, 96″ Legs are 18″ tall – standard. 12″, 24″ and 30″ plastic legs available upon request.
