Greenhouse & Nursery Ventilation
Greenhouse ventilation means many things to different people. To some it is air conditioning with fan and pad cooling. With others it is natural ventilation, using roll-up sidewalls, automatic ventilators for roof, sides and ends. One popular method is the ACME Fan-Jet exhaust/fan ventilation system.
Other methods use exhaust fan with automatic or motorized shutters. Some ventilation is the use of insect or predator natural ventilation with air moving through the screen by natural wind action. Ventilation systems are also used to protect greenhouses during cold temperatures to prevent cold air from infiltrating into the house
Agricultural Ventilation
USGR offers Munters/Euroemme, Aerotech, Acme and Quietaire Fans for Agricultural Ventilation. We have Munter/Euroemme fans in a wide range selections of exhaust fan products to suit your needs. USGR introduced Aerotech revolutionary new concept for ventilating pits in hog facilities during the cool weather months, Cold Air Pit Ventilation or “CAP”. We have used Aerotech design for specific projects over the years and have found very positive results.
A simple and effective design created through a collaborative effort between US Global Resources and Aerotech Field Representatives, Aerotech engineering staff and innovative customers. CAP ventilation allows better air quality, less pit gas generation, lower fuel bills, and wider building design, thus lower construction cost.
The design uses a series of inlets, pipe fans and ducts that pull cold winter air from the attic and inject it into the pit. Then a pit transition pulls the cold air across the pit and caps the majority of gases below the floor. US Global Resources provides Aerotech design and equipment needed at a minimal cost.
Product Storage Ventilation and Warehouse Ventilation
Our portable evaporative cooling units Port-A-Cool are exceptionally efficient as the unit pulls lower amps than competitors, which results in low electrical consumption and does not require the electricity that AC/DC requires. The units are very popular for both indoor and outdoor use. The purchasers of the Port-A-Cool units lower the ambient temperature an average of 20 degrees and do so with less electrical consumption.
